This is troubling but not surprising. Are you sure you know where your apportionment funds go?

“Muslim Aid is very open about the faith that motivates its relief and development work. UMCOR, in contrast, is largely silent about Jesus Christ and the Bible. No wonder there is such easy agreement between them.”–Mark Tooley, IRD’s Director of [...]

A few days ago I posted Neil’s 4 part series on the problems with pro-gay theology. If you missed it I highly recommend it as it is excellent reading.
After taking comments of those posts into consideration, Neil wrote a 5th post for a summary where he compared the law in Leviticus 18:8, Do not have [...]

Team Pyro has a hilarious series of “motivational” posters for emergents. On his blog each photo has a link to a site that demonstrates its truth. However, you can see a conglomeration of them here. If you’ve ever talked with emergents till you pulled your hair out, you’ll really appreciate these!

Heavenly Father, if I should suffer need, and go unclothed, and be in poverty, make my heart prize Thy love, know it, be constrained by it, though I be denied all blessings. It is Thy mercy to afflict and try me with wants, for by these trials I see my sins, and desire severance from [...]

The Bible is your most valuable possession, more precious than gold, and sweeter than honey. How easily it can be forgotten, but how valuable when rediscovered!
“I want to know one thing,” said John Wesley, “—the way to heaven: how to land safe on that happy shore. God himself has condescended to teach the way. He [...]

In a Newsweek article last March, polygamist Mark Henkel explained the basis of his argument for “polygamist rights”: If Heather can have two mommies, she should also be able to have two mommies and a daddy. At the time, even gay activists scoffed at the premise. But as family scholar Elizabeth Marquardt explains in an [...]

Russel Moore, sitting in for Albert Mohler, had an on-air discussion with Tony Jones – a leader in the leaderless emerging church movement. In this dialog, Tony Jones gives us a great example of how to say a lot of words, but never answer any questions.
Notice when listening, how Dr. Moore asks him specific questions [...]

Neil over at 4Simpsons has posted the first of a four part series on the problems with pro-gay theology. His first part is very reasonable and sets out with a fair tone that I’m sure will continue through the rest of the posts.
He hits the nail on the head in bringing up that this issue [...]

Thanks to FRC for the following report:
Christians have proclaimed for two millennia that the truth of Jesus Christ can release men and women from enslavement to destructive behaviors (John 8:31-32). The homosexual movement argues, when it suits them, that homosexuality is a characteristic set in concrete from birth. Christians have always known better (I Cor. [...]

I once heard Ken Hamm talk about offending a family member by commenting “what a cute little sinner,” she had just birthed.
I once told a friend of mine that you don’t have to teach a child to like or steal, but you do have to teach them to tell the truth and share.
This [...]

On Townhall.com on July 9th, Jennifer Roback Morse, author of Smart Sex: Finding True Love in a Hook-Up World, deftly and succinctly demonstrates how futile federally funded comprehensive sex education is for its target audience.
