Mike Adams is a conservative-minded faculty member at UNCW who writes a column on TownHall.com. He is an outspoken free-speech advocate and often exposes the hypocrisy of those who want to suppress truth under the banner of free speech. I have heard him speak in public and enjoy his articles (see link in my Blogroll). [...]

The article doesn’t have any more information than quoted below, and has some sleezy ads, so clicker beware. The good thing about Tom and Scientology is that even the unbelieving world recognizes that they are silly and untrue. Not always a usual thing in the kingdom of the cults.
“For if someone comes to you and [...]

Here is a great article by Todd Friel, from “The Way Of The Master Radio“ called “You Ain’t Seen Nothin’ Yet” where he does an excellent job of demonstrating that the current seeker sensitive movement is not the problem, but a symptom of the problem of redefining the doctrine of justification. In this piece, he quotes an incredible interview with [...]

The following is a news blurb from FRC regarding the Annual March for Life in Washington DC this past Monday. Ironically, I was in town on business and happened to wander with my dad between the Capitol Building and the Supreme Court Building where the masses were still assimilated late in the evening.
One observation that we [...]

From R.C. Sproul’s Ligonier Ministries:
The 2007 National Conference is only two months away. What better way to prepare for this conference than by studying valuable resources on defending the faith?
In Defending your Faith, Dr. R.C. Sproul provides an introduction to apologetics, the science of defending the Christian faith. Drawing from years of research and experience, [...]

“I’ll never forget the time when my teacher, Donald Grey Barnhouse, told me of a luncheon he had with Norman Vincent Peale—who was then riding the crest of the wave on the power of positive thinking. They had chatted for a few minutes when Peale unexpectedly remarked, “I’d like a candid answer, Donald. I know [...]

“And God saw the light, that it was good: and God divided the light from the darkness.”—Genesis 1:4
Light might well be good since it sprang from that fiat of goodness, “Let there be light.” We who enjoy it should be more grateful for it than we are, and see more of God in it and [...]

“It takes away the life of its owners” – Proverbs 1:19
Is your church’s philosophy geared toward appealing to man’s “felt-needs,” and thus encouraging greed through the confirmation of those “felt-needs,….”
….or does your church’s philosophy appeal to the Biblical demand that we lay down our “felt-needs” in order to follow Christ at all costs?

My friend Jon sent me a link to AiG’s study guide on Genesis 1. – Thanks Jon!
Some great points were observed:
The doctrine of Creation (based in Genesis) explains that one man’s sin led to the death, pain and suffering we experience today, whereas the anti-God doctrine of evolution and its stablemate, a belief in [...]
